Mike Johnson –
Makes working in the kitchen so much easier.
Mike Hernandez –
Ever since I saw these on TV, I’ve been obsessed! Love tongs but tongs AND a spatula?! I must have, so I bought these Clever Tongs for my monthly kitchen purchase – usually a purchase that will replace something old, or even better, multiple things cluttering up my kitchen drawers or counter. The Clever Tongs were to replace these items: my useless spatula that won’t even turn over a pancake, and my old pasta strainer spoon. Score! Perfect for both and more. I make a lot of vegetable stock for soups and the large one works great to take the hot veggies out of the water. The small one worked beautiful for turning over Sunday morning blueberry pancakes for a perfect flip. I wanted to use the bigger one but it developed a slight upward curl, therefore not laying flat enough for pancakes but no biggie, I use the small one. You just have to make sure they are not wider than the spread of the spatula. It does take a little brain-work to get used to using tongs like a spatula but after a couple times, I ended up loving it. Didn’t love for trying to pick up pan grilled asparagus hence the lost star (but maybe need more practice?).Little Bit More: Love the color and that you get 2 different sizes that fold up and fit good in your drawer of utensil holder. They are very well made, love that the soft silicone won’t scratch your pans, and dishwasher safe. Overall, very pleased with my purchase and the space it has saved me.v

Great gift
Jessica Miller –
I love these they are so handy for so many things and they are made well.
Mark Martinez –
Cool idea however requires more work to use with ease as you would a regular spatula. The spatula portion does not want to lay flat.
Robert Miller –
Like these tongs very much as the have the scoop in the center. They work great, however I wish the big one was smaller as it is not as useful as the small one for serving. It has the tendency to be top heavy. Still would recommend them.
Mark Jones –
They come with little feet! I use them all of the time!
Mike Johnson –
I was excited to use these for pasta and salads. So at first, the middle ruber ledge would actually spontaneously flip the other way as I was using it, thus flipping the contents out- not good. It took like a month of leaving the tongs sitting folded to get that ruber middle part to stay down and hold the food.
Mark Williams –
Works great, easy to clean, withstands heat and oils. Odd not pinching tongs to grab things is hardest to adjust to.
Daniel Miller –
I like these but i feel like handle part is somewhat flimsy
Jessica Hernandez –
This is a very interesting spatula/tongs. I was a little unsure about how well they would work, especially on high heat, but they work good so far. They do not melt and will work well for flipping. As tongs they do not work the same way and for all applications that tongs work for but they do seem like they work well for things that you need to flip with a spatula or could also use tongs on, hamburgers, steaks, chicken, pancakes, eggs, etc They clean very easily which is a huge plus.
Sarah Garcia –
These are great and you get two for the price of one elsewhere!! Great purchase 🙂
Laura Miller –
Love them. Use to flip French toast.
Mike Davis –
These tongs are the coolest invention. They’re a mix between a spatula and tongs really – the perfect combination and exactly what you are missing in your kitchen. They squeeze easily, are silicon so food slides nicely in them and best of all – dishwasher safe! I’ve used them for eggs, flipping chicken, rolls, and so much more already. I also love that you get 2 sizes in your order. I’ll never go without these again!!
Anna Williams –
These tongs are really cool! They function perfectly as regular tongs while giving the option to flip/move much more food at one time. They are dishwasher safe, which is a necessity for me. The price includes two sets of tongs, one large and one medium sized. The price is pretty great for two pairs of quality tongs. The tongs can also be locked in the “closed” position, making them easy to store.I am very happy with this purchase.
Mike Johnson –
took a couple tries to get used to using it but it is great
Mike Davis –
I’ve used it once for hamburgers in my air fryer. Worked flawlessly.
Emily Hernandez –
These are the best tongs EVER! We love asparagus and if you have ever tried to scoop asparagus spears out of a deep pan, you know the need for these tongs!!! They are now used for so many things in my kitchen, from turning fried shrimp to plucking hot dogs out of a hot water bath! Because of getting 4, I had enough to share with my adult children for their cooking needs! LOVE THEM!!!
Daniel Williams –
I’m addicted to silicone cooking utensils. And these tongs/spatula combo utensils are really cool. You get two sets, a set of small and a set of large tongs. Although the small tongs are almost as wide as the large ones. So it’s really the handle that’s smaller/larger – not the spatula head (by much). See the pictures. They work great as tongs how I use them mainly. The spatula is good too – but I’ve found myself using it as tongs mainly. But I still use them. Plus they look great with all my green silicone Utensils. Dishwashee safe so that’s a definite plus.
Daniel Davis –
Easy to use !!
Jessica Hernandez –
I like the green silicone because it doesn’t scratch my pans and the locking feature is nice so that it takes up less space in my drawer. I tried the tongs on pancakes and they worked fine for the small silver dollar ones I like to make. Anything much bigger doesn’t fit. The grabbing part wasn’t great for pancakes, but would come in handy for something like stir fry.
Mark Jones –
The idea behind these is great! I think I’m just uncoordinated. I also made the mistake of storing them closed, so when I attempted to use them to lift pieces of baked chicken nuggets they kept rolling off because the surface wasn’t flat anymore.. lol. They’ve held up fine on the top rack of the dishwasher. I now have them stored flat and they’re much easier to operate without the curve in the silicone (when I stored them closed).Looking forward to trying them this summer when we use the George Foreman grill more often!
Emily Davis –
Works great and super easy to clean
Jessica Brown –
Only used s couple of times but they did the trick.
Robert Brown –
Comply with the time, day and product. They are very responsive
Emily Martinez –
These work great! One had a flaw, but since I really only need one I did not try to return it.
Emily Smith –
Love it now that I’m used to it.
Laura Johnson –
I will say that the tongs take some getting use to. It is nice that they come in two sizes, but the biggest is not large enough to flip pancakes….at least my pancakes. I have found more success using them to scoop up salad or noodles, foods like that instead of trying to flip over pancakes, patties, and fried eggs. They are better if you use them as tongs and not like a spatula. The silicone is easy on your pots and pans that have a nonstick coating so that is a plus. I honestly think that I need more practice using them and will provide an update if my opinion changes.
Jessica Williams –
Cool concept, I needed to allow a bit of time to condition the scoop part to stay on the backside. Originally it kept arching forward. After storing it with the scoop in the back for a while it’s become more effective.
Daniel Johnson –
Great keeps none stick pans good and scratch free
Sarah Martinez –
Good
Mark Miller –
These are essential for me, literally use them everyday. Already bought a second pair to have on hand and another to gift someone for Xmas!
Robert Davis –
Makes picking up difficult food so much easier. I gave a pair to my sister. She loves them too.
Daniel Jones –
You do have to learn how to use them but once you get the hang of it they are very handy very easy to clean glad I bought them
Robert Martinez –
I like the product. The add states we pay for two big and two small spatulas for a total of four. I only received one big one and one small one.
Robert Hernandez –
Very easy to use. I love cooking and sauteing onions and mushrooms and using these tongs, it made it easier to pick the onions and mushrooms up and move them around the pan. I would recommend them to anyone who likes to move items around the pan.
Laura Martinez –
These tongs are pretty cool. I am able to use them to flip things over, as well as scoop them up. While making chicken in a grill pan, there are times when the chicken sticks and it’s hard to just use silicone tongs to turn the pieces. With these tongs, I am able to gently lift under, then use the tongs to turn them.
Mark Hernandez –
These work really well when pan frying. I used them to pan fry chicken cordon blue before baking it in the oven and loved the big one because it kept the breading from falling off when flipping it in the pan. The small clever tong is also really great for pan frying home made breaded chicken tenders.
Emily Garcia –
These are great for me I have very limited mobility in one of my hands and I thought I would try these and they work perfectly! Make it so much easier to help in the kitchen and they are made very well little tricky when food gets stuck in the little holes but overall they are five stars from me!
Mark Garcia –
These are great. You can pick up items like chicken thighs with the tongs. The spatula is good for flipping things like salmon. They clean up easily too. Wash with a little soap and water or toss in the dishwasher. I threw away my gross blue plastic spatulas! These are innovative.
John Williams –
Perfect a lot of uses
Emily Miller –
Good product
Robert Garcia –
Makes getting fries & chicken nuggets easy to get out of the air fryer. Great idea.
Robert Miller –
I got a bit of a surprise when these arrived. They fold up which is a space saver. They are also study and will probably last for years. I will get back when I actually use them. I took a star away because they do not have holes and I was never given the option when I ordered this item. I noticed this when I watched the video again. Since I received to sets one of them should have had the holes for drainage.
Mike Smith –
definitely a learning curve. excited to try them a bit more.
Emily Jones –
Makes picking up eggs very easier.
Daniel Williams –
The tong/spatula combo is a smart idea, and this product is an alright execution of the idea. I do often find myself at times where just a spatula isn’t enough for moving food around (like lots of a smaller item that aren’t inclined to be transported easily on the flat surface of a spatula), and tongs just don’t do the job, either. I think that these combo kitchen tools are a smart idea, but in execution they sort of become useful in an independent way, rather than being something that would reduce the need for spatulas and tongs alone. For example, as I tried to pick up a steak with the larger tongs, I slid the flat green part under the steak and squeezed the tongs to get a good grip. However, because the spatula part folds, it then becomes irrelevant in my moving of the food item. I also found that the thick silicone of the spatula will stay sort of bent when you release the tongs if they have been in the closed position for awhile. I think a tighter spring on the tongs (to have a bit more strength behind keeping the tongs open) and a slightly less rigid material/thickness for the spatula part, would be great improvements on these very minor complaints of mine. I don’t think these issues change the usefulness of the tongs, because they are still a good thing to have. I wouldn’t use it in place of something that only requires a spatula (like flipping pancakes) or only tongs, but these definitely have their place in the kitchen.
Sarah Smith –
Once I got them I tossed them in the dishwasher for a good cleaning. Then, I just used these for the first time today to make some eggs for breakfast. The best part was how the silicone easily and smoothly slide on my cast iron pan and under my egg. I think these tongs will also work for things like serving salads and such.
John Brown –
These are great, I have found so many uses for them. Great product, will definitely recommend.
Robert Davis –
These spatulas work just as promised. Easy to clean. Easy to store. Don’t have to worry about the angle blocking the drawer from opening and closing. Kept 2 and gave 2 to my daughter
