has worked for me several times so far for transferring gas from a 5 gallon container to a smaller more manageable one. the hose is a bit thin, time will tell how long it lasts but for now, no complaints. Make sure you don’t fill the container all the way to the top since there is still gas in the device that needs to drain out once the device is turned off.

Worked perfectly. I was pumping gas into my lawn tractor and also putting air into the tires. Was rushing because I was worried about over filling the tank. After filling the second tire with air I thought I better check the pump. The tank was full and the auto shutoff had kicked in and worked perfectly. I am impressed by the speed, ease of use, and the auto shutoff.

Just received this pump yesterday and used it same day to pump gas from 5 gallon gas tanks into the pontoon boat. FANTASTIC !! Did I say fantastic? I rarely review products but this make the job SO much easier. When buying gas on the water costs $1.50 per gallon more than buying at the local gas station this little pump will pay for itself on 2 fill ups. And it will empty a 5 gallon tank in under 2 minutes.

It is effective transferring fuel quickly. However, you need to be careful to shut it off at the right time to prevent spillage – that includes the fuel remaining in the tube. There’s nothing to prevent overflow. Not a big deal as long as you are being careful and attentive to control the flow.

The pump works well. It is not as fast as I expected, but it did the job. Time will tell if it is durable. Not sure if like the auto shutoff sensor. It shut off on me a few times without be wanting it shut off.

These fuel pumps work great! We have multiple pumps that we use for different things (water, fuel) and it transfer quickly and easily. We originally got them to avoid spilling fuel when filling smaller volume gas tanks. I use them to drain fuel out of our equipment before it is going to sit for a while over the winter and it has a small enough nozzle to reach into most small gas tanks. The battery life is quite good, but I did put up a couple rechargeable batteries for these. The speed of fuel transfer can drop when the battery starts getting low and that’s how you know it’s time for a change.

I love the item because lugging 5-gallon cans up to a gas tank is a pain. I have had the on/off switch fall off so I question the durability. A little problem with the piece that goes into the tank of snagging and removing from the tank. You need to take batteries out when not in use too. No big deal. It does transfer about 90 % of the gas, not quite all in may experience but does save a lot of effort on holding a full 5-gallon can. I would recommend for that reason. Really question the durability though.

It pumps pretty fast and is easy to use. The auto cutoff switch sometime fails, so don’t trust it or you may be dealing with spilled gas.Very light, pumps at a good clip with new batteries. Does have a problem pumping up hill when the batteries are not new. A lot better than dealing with a 5 gal can and trying to fill a generator, lawnmower, or snow blower. Also good are removing old gas at the end of the season when storing the engine away.

Great little pump but when I went to reorder it goes to Amazon at double rye price. Ordered one anyway but what I received was not Turbo Pump but something else and it was junk. Returning it.
