Snake Bit

I purchased this to get into a very inaccessible spot — the a/c belt tensioning screw on my BMW X5. It got the screw pretty tight, though probably not quite to torque spec. It seems to be a decent specialty tool for occasional needs, but doesn’t appear to be made to stand up to any kind of regular use.

Worked as advertised. Can’t say I put it through a real stress test, but it made the job I was doing much, much easier and I’m glad to have it in the box should I need it in the future.4 stars because I dont really need 2 and would have rather paid less for 1.

I bought these for my husband last Christmas. He originally wasn’t at all impressed and told me he wasn’t sure what he would use them for. Well I can tell you as of a year later he busts these bad boys out quite often. They work great. I would recommend anyone to get them. I myself have used them as well with those tight to get to places. They are great when you need to assembly furniture.

not much to say about these other than they work well. there was a small learning curve with using them, but nothing i couldnt figure out in less than a couple of uses. they are great for getting into small areas that would be tough to get even with an extension.

a plastic all-ways bendable extension cannot compare to flexible braided steel, but much pliable the those too. It is a compromise that allows you to do some jobs when no other extension will cope with. Good to have one..

This adds much convenience to simple wood in screws. Since using first, I keep on me because I’d like to not go without it. I’m not willing to test what torque this can handle but be reasonable with what’s being used for.

I got these to add to my tool bag for repair jobs where you can’t get a screwdriver in like cabinets, where the screws might too close to the top or sides of the cabinet. This allows me to get a bit onto the screw in the tightest place. I’ve started using this to install ‘security screws’ in places that don’t let people tamper with the security screws.

Perfect for tight places where you are not able to get your hands to the problem.

I’ve used it eight times so far, and it works as promised. Handy, gets into tight spaces, works well.

THIS TOOL WORKED WONDERS .I NEEDED A TOOL THAT MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO DRILL OUT A ROUNDED BOLT SO I COULD GET THE EASY OUT IN AN THIS DID THE TRICK.PLUS IT IS MADE REALLY GOOD WHERE YOU CAN HOLD IT WHILE DRILLING

Like the product just feels simple and cheap.Great to use for certain areas or occurrences.Highly recommend if you have a bad spot to put a screw into.

My last flexible drill extension was the older cable style. It was flexible, but would not stay in position if you let it go, and would constantly coil itself up whenever there was a bit of resistance from the screw/bolt/nut, often leading to painful pinching of my fingers. It finally died when the repeated over-torquing caused the internal cable to unravel and separate from the bit end.I was skeptical of this at first, and have only used it once, but I must say that it does seem to work much better than my old one. The segmented design holds position much better, and it doesn’t appear to be affected by the torque on stubborn screws. In fact it seems to transmit the desired power to the screws much more effectively. The only thing I wish it had were the cam lock groove on the hex shaft. We’ll see how long they last.

Perfect tool for automotive type work! I use this tool for the most remote hard to reach places. It’s really good for putting hardware back on but it’s OK for removing. Not much torque can be put through this tool. If you understand that then it’ll work fine. Don’t be like these 1 star idiots who on their first use try to break loose lug nuts like the dummy they are! Won’t work! But do you need to install fender liner with a lot of screws behind the suspension components? Well this tool works fantastic for that!! I honestly use it almost every time I wrench on my car. No joke.
