Hasp broke completely out of the 15+ year old storage shed. Couldn’t locate replacement lid from manufacturer, and similar sheds are a bigger expense than the cost of this flex tape!!! So, thought I’d try to make repair. First step: smoothed liquid nails on top and to underside of lid at the broken areas and extending out to shore up zagged fissures and any hairline breaks. Let liquid nail repair cure for a few days while waiting for flex tape to be delivered. 2nd step: Cut flex tape to cover liquid nail repaired area and folding over to underside same as the liquid nail application. So far, this has worked well over the past month in rain conditions and 100+ degree temperatures. I’m careful not to grab the hasp to lift the lid, as I suspect lifting by the hasp over these many years probably caused the wear and tear to this exceptionally rugged shed that is otherwise still in good condition. These 2 products, liquid nails and ‘flex tape’ worked great together to reattach the hasp and seal the gapping hole in the lid’s top. I liked the 4 width. It makes a neater repair and also covers larger break area.”

It really did what I needed for it to do…

My from patio plexiglass that is above my grill cracked. The crack turned into a hole because of the sun and humidity and expanded. This tape adhered to the plastic and I live in FLorida where we are having tropical storms everyday and I havent had any leaks since it was applied 2 weeks ago. Great product.

Somehow our old car got a gash on the side. I just put this over it to keep the water out. Not exactly pretty, but it gets the job done and it makes it easier to verify which grey car is ours in a large parking lot of grey, silver, or other similar colored cars.

  5. Sarah Johnson

I use this to secure a shower caddy that kept moving in the shower spilling its contents this tape really works I’m satisfied …it worth the price that’s a different story but at least it works thank you

  6. Mark Hernandez

I don’t like that it was very hard to unroll and install. I ruined the first roll thinking I could cut off a piece and install it on my indoor pool vinyl liner. I off a piece and stuck it to the window in order to size it and the roll stuck to my hand and I couldn’t get it loose and the part I stuck to the window for sizing wouldn’t come off and I ruined the whole roll. I had to buy a tool to remove it from the window. I bought a second roll and had better luck now that I knew to be very careful.

  7. Jessica Smith

Good quality and easy to use

  8. Mark Hernandez

    Works and promised, really works

  9. Daniel Smith

Got it to temporarily patch a hole in my porch roof until better weather and it did the job

  10. Jessica Brown

We have a 900 gallon pond with a 25 foot river and a huge pump that runs it. And we had a crack in our pipe. It’s about 4 inches round. Didn’t want to take everything apart so we bought this tape and put it around it and it worked great, We use a lot of stuff from flex

repair a roll up farm curtain on a building

  12. Jessica Williams

Product is as described as did the job of patching leaks outdoors perfectly

  13. Robert Jones

this is super sticky and it worked great. i hope a year from now it’s still there… but for today i’m pretty happy with this.

  14. Daniel Garcia

    great stuff sticks to metal

  15. Mike Davis

Used to cover holes in house vinyl siding. Color match was almost perfect. Although pricey, still less $$$ than residing the house, and will keep weather and bugs from getting behind/in siding.

  16. Daniel Smith

I learned very quickly that if this tape gets stuck to itself on the sticky side it’s game over. The tape is pricey for the length that comes on a roll. It sticks very well. I used it to cover some rusted metal on a steel top cap on an above ground pool. It’s been on several weeks in all kinds of weather and conditions and it seems to be holding up well. The added benefit I had was it matched the color of the pool almost perfectly.

  17. Robert Miller

I like the adhesive strength and depend ability of the tape

  18. Anna Miller

Got my 3 year car tent through 10 years… of various winters

  19. Anna Smith

I put a one star for easy to remove. I do not think it would work as well if it was easy to remove.

  20. Anna Martinez

This is a great product, it’s just that you don’t get a lot of tape for the cost.

  21. Daniel Martinez

I used this tape to cover some holes in a hot tub spa cover. It worked great. Easy to apply. Appears to be holding great. Dummy me didn’t read the description so didn’t realize it was 8 wide & only 5′ long so I just cut it into strips & it worked just fine. Note to self: read description of items before buying lol.”

  22. Mike Hernandez

    Met expectation

  23. Mike Brown

It’s really adhesive but it’s so big that it’s easy to get it stuck on itself, or the liner paper, or to your fingers easily if you try to apply it by yourself. It cannot be pulled apart once this happens. It would work really well if you get help with keeping one side straight while you unwrap, cut, and apply your side.

  24. Anna Johnson

It’s not what I expected perhaps human error but it’s not like the commercial

  25. Mark Smith

    Excelente

  26. Jessica Jones

On time and exactly what I ordered

  27. Sarah Smith

I have a hot tub where the stitching is starting to come apart on the cover used for tub. Snow that will melt in this area will accidently fall in the tub filling it past the water level. This was used as a quick fix till I shell out 400 on a new lid. The tape is sticky, and it does its job as advertised. I bet it would make a GREAT Venus Fly Trap or use it on the wife to keep her from going to the mall, spending all that money or using the charge cards.. lol hahahahaha!

  28. Emily Garcia

I have used it to fix my Koi pond liner and it always works great no problem

  29. Mark Davis

I used it to fill a Crack between concrete slab and aluminum panel. Works well so far.

  30. Robert Jones

This tape is thick, yet flexible, and sticks like crazy. I used the grey tape to repair damaged siding, and the color matched perfectly. A little difficult pulling off the clear backing, but once it is off the tape sticks to EVERYTHING – your fingernails, the table, even the clear backing is hard to re-remove once the tape has been exposed to air. You also need to pull the backing off uniformly so that it doesn’t split and need to be started again. But once you get the hang of it you will find it works great. Even forming the overlapping folds of the siding worked great.

Repaired the hose on sump pump

  32. John Williams

Very sticky, used on pin hole leak on water pipe

  33. Emily Jones

I got this tape to fix a garden hose that was spraying water from a leak. I applied the tape and it worked immediately and ever since. Very happy.

  34. Laura Williams

Repaired my wheel well liner and it’s still holding!

  35. John Smith

goooooood luck using this tape easily. Better make sure you are prepared to throw away your scissors too once you cut into this tape since the adhesive will stick. to. everything. Very, very sticky, which is good, however if one thing goes wrong, it’s a nightmare to fix; just cut your losses and start over with this tape since you have 5′ to work with. Waiting on the recommended 24 hour adherence phase to determine if it helped. We are fixing our irrigation tube that sprung a leak, and the regular spray version from this company didn’t work AND chipped off. We shall see…

  36. John Davis

I have used this several times in different projects and I have been pleased with the results.

  37. Emily Hernandez

Worked great for what I needed it for

  38. Laura Davis

Bought this to use on a hose that had sprung a leak. So far, it is holding well. It certainly does adhere well as the first time I wrapped the hose, I didn’t do a good job and had a heck of a time pealing it back off. So be careful when applying, because it really does want to stay stuck!

  39. John Brown

ordered this for garden hose that my dog bit into… It worked great so far…

  40. Mike Brown

I bought this product to try on my garden hose. I have a hole and thought this product would be worth the purchase if it really works. The tape is a lot wider then I needed so I had to cut a smaller strip. It has only been a few days since I attempted to fix the hose but I have been very pleased on how well this product has held up. I haven’t tried to remove it yet but overall I gave it four stars because I don’t know if it will keep its seal

  41. Sarah Johnson

I was not happy with this product at all. The first disappointment was there was not much on the roll. But that’s my fault. The length is on the package. Most of these type tapes say that it does not work well on anything that places pressure on the sticky side. I was using it in hopes of fixing a large water transfer hose. So my disappointment when it did not work is also more of my fault. I write this review to let people know it does not work well at all if your going to have pressure pushing on the sticky side. Not the manufacture’s fault. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. Water Proof Gorilla tape was cheaper, a lot more on the roll and worked better.

  42. Robert Johnson

So far it is holding up under water. Used to cover valve hole in my pond.

  43. Robert Hernandez

The tape came very fast so as far as seller- great job! The tape itself is not quite what I expected. The directions talked about removing a top layer after applying but from what I could tell it was just like ordinary tale. I used it on a purse and although it’s not a dark color it looked more white than clear on my purse so kind of ugly and not inconspicuous.

  44. Emily Garcia

Fixed a hole in our above ground pool. Easy to use under water.

  45. Robert Miller

It will stick to almost any surface, so place it ehere you want it.

  46. Mark Smith

Super sticky. My clumsy fingers had difficulty keeping it separated while cutting it. Both sides were sticky making it very difficult for me. Someone more experienced will probably have less trouble.

  47. Laura Brown

The product works great as advertised

  48. Daniel Hernandez

So, I needed a mulch plug for my 42 inch zt ultra, didn’t wanna wait for shipping so I just covered the discharge chute with flex tape. This was a month ago, I’ve got the new mulch plug, but the flex tapes still on there, so I’ma just leave the flex tape. 10/10 product

  49. Anna Davis

I used the product to patch a hole in an outside building structure. So far, very please with the results. Expecting about 2 inches of rain in the next 2 days, this will test the veracity of the product.

  50. Daniel Martinez

We got this to repair a hole in a vinyl pool that was already filled with water. We tried a few other pool patch kits and nothing worked. A quick cup and apply with this tape and the pool is as good as new. Easy to use, worked even under water. I wish it came in a smaller roll for less money, but this will last a while and will work on so many things. Highly recommend for a headache free pool patch. My 11 and 12 year old repaired the pool with this tape all on their own. Great product.
