I bought this because I was tired of having my phone in my lap. I had a phone holder that used to attach to my windshield, but the Texas heat melted parts of it.🙁 It was totally ruined! So I saw this and bought it. I love it so far. It stays put. Solid! I don’t think the Texas heat will hurt it. It’s not directly in the sun light.

This fits the bill for a phone/tablet holder to press-fit into your cup holder. It has a dialing base allowing it to fit in my F-150 & Tesla cup holders. You may find yourself wanting a taller one depending on what you are trying to do, be it hold the phone for kids or something else. I do like it for directions on road trips and youtube video playing. It is a very good tool to have.

I do a lot of road trips and use my phone mostly for Waze and so I need it to be in a place to easily read it. This holder does just that. I have several vehicles, so have purchased a number of different brands, but I must say this one is one of the best. Things to consider is the height you need it to be distinguished on the location of your cup holder. One most of my vehicles the cup holder is right near my right elbow at the center console. On another the cup holders are closer to the floor so I need a longer neck. The base of this one expands so that it fits tightly in the holder. Some are sloppy and I don’t like those. Turn a knob one way to tighten and another way to loosen. I recommend this product.

The base of this unit is designed to fit tightly into just about any vehicle cup holder. The base can be adjusted to grip tight into the cup holder.The extension arm can be adjusted to the position you desire, and there is a rubber backed base plate to set your phone on. The phone base plate has adjustable grips/clamps that you can adjust to the width of your phone. Also, the bottom of the base has a ledge to keep the phone from slipping vertically out of the base. All adjustments can be tightened to your liking, thereby allowing you to set your phone into or remove it from the unit without having to do any further adjustments.

I had the Miracase vent phone holder in my previous car and absolutely loved it. I cannot use that phone holder in the car I am driving now so I needed to find a different option. I decided to go with a cup holder style since I didn’t want to have attach the holder to the dash or have my phone obstruct my windshield.I love how easy it is to install. It took less than a minute to fit it to my cup holder and adjust the angle of the phone. It can fit into a majority of cup holder sizes since it expands to the opening by turning a dial. I can also adjust the angle and height of the phone. The phone can be used in landscape or portrait position and flipping between both positions is as easy as moving the phone. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and then phone holder had never loosened up or moved, even while driving on bumpy roads. It holds my phone firmly as it sits on a little ledge and is cupped with two side pieces that have a rubbery foam that protects against damaging myphone. Removal is as easy as twisting the dial. High quality and well worth the money
