If you go to turn the device on and it shuts off after a few seconds while making the light blink just do this…1) lubricate the blades with some type of oil like flaxseed, avocado, castor, mineral oil, etc.…2) lightly tap the bottom of the trimmer on a hard surface while running the trimmer3) lightly tap the PLASTIC BACK of the trimmer head on a hard surface while running the trimmerRepeat as often this necessary until it continues to run without automatically shutting off.This worked for me .I know it will work for you.I would’ve given it five stars if this was not an issue.It only happened to me once so far.Definitely cuts closer than my old orange and gray Norelco trimmer.

When my old nose hair trimmer I had for years bit me and caused my nose to bleed….I knew it was time for a change. Too be fair some of the plastic on the tip had broken off over time leaving the blades a bit exposed so I knew I was taking a chance. It did server me well for many years though…but still had to go. I have seen trimmer of this style many times so thought I would give one a try.Right off the bat I liked the shape of the device. I have big hands and it took some getting used to, but it is pretty easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. Had I done this review sooner, it might not have been as positive. I cannot give it five stars cause it still takes a nibble now and then, although it has not drawn blood yet, but it does work well. The small attachments took a little time to figure out too, but they work real well for trimming eyebrows which is something my old trimmer could not do so….bonus points for the Micro Touch. The little light on the trimmer is a nice feature, but it would be nice if you had an option to shut it off. I did not read the instructions so maybe it does, but others mentioned it as well so I am guessing not. But it does sometimes make it harder to see what is going on versus better – but not a huge deal really.At the end of the day it appears well made and is pretty versatile so can be used to remove or trim hair in many places I imagine. For me that is mainly my nose, ears and now my eyebrows and to that end I am very please with how this trimmer gets the job done. I can’t speak to the battery life, but since it only gets used every other week or so and only for a few minutes, I suspect the battery will last a long time. However, your mileage may very depending on what and how much you are trimming. I keep the protective cap on it when it’s not in use too so it will stay sharp, but I imagine over time it will not cut as well and to that end there is a high bar set by my old trimmer so only time will tell.So far I am pleased with the purchase and if it were not for the few nibbles it has taken from the inside of my hose, no blood mind you, I would have given it five stars. It’s not perfect, but it is a quality trimmer for a fair price.

I loved the product and ment to review sooner.Although the delayed review works out.I’ve been using the trimmer and really got a lot of good use out of it.It can be great for light trimming for quite some time. As I used it for the majority of the time I have had it.I got a bit undershaved and was out of options so I used it to do a full shave.That’s what dulled the blades too much.If I would continued to do light trimming I believe that it would be fine.I will buy again.Seller was accurate in the price and description

I’ve only used this a few times, but it definitely helps you reach the tough spots like the back of the head. It’s excellent for trimming using just the clippers with no attachments, but I had some trouble using the attachments. First, they aren’t labeled, so it’s tough to compare them to regular clipper attachments (like no. 3 or no. 4 etc.). Second, my using them to cut my hair means I basically can use only one hand if I’m using bathroom sink mirrors since I have to lean backwards for a good view and I need my other hand to support myself against the counter. So when clipping my hair it’s hard to get it to make good contact with the trimmer under the attachment. The hair tends to float on top of the attachment and not go through the slots and against the cutting portion of the tool.Using the attachments resulted in my hair being very short where the trimmer touches the head and to cut the hair longer where it met the attachment. That tends to make the hair very short, maybe shorter than you wanted, near the hair line and places nearer the hair line.I’m still learning how this thing works, so I will probably get better results as I figure it out. It’s very easy to trim near the hair line, but it’s hard to trim hair to the exact length you want away from the hairline.Overall, it works well – certainly better than using just scissors like I had been doing. But I wish the manual gave suggestions and pictures on how to use it with the attachments.The built in light went out, but it doesn’t help you see better anyway, so that wasn’t a problem.

I bought this to replace my old one. Same manufacturer.They improved the design. Easier to hold. Nice little light to help you see what you’re doing.Trims hair perfectly. Exactly what you’d expect. Doesn’t cut or nick the skin.My only complaint with the design is that you can’t feel the blade when you’re cutting. Not a problem in most areas, but when I trim the hair at the top of my ear where eye glasses rest, I can’t feel it and I’ve gone over it too many times causing it to hurt a little. Still no nicks. No bleeding. Felt a little burned. With the old one, I could feel where I was trimming. This one is so light and they’ve improved the cutting technology so much, I don’t feel it. Had to learn to go by visual.I don’t use it for my nose hair, but I use it for inside my ears, on top of ears, and eye brows and I love it.A keeper for sure. Still highly recommend it. You just have to adjust to it.

This was originally built by a mainline company and then discontinued. So when my original died, I was crushed to learn it had been discontinued and then delighted to see that this company stepped into the breach. I love this tool. It is sharp but safe. Its narrow cutting prong fits everywhere easily. It has a replaceable plastic cover on the blades and a light. Nose, ears, neck, anywhere! The light is particularly useful. Very happy with this item.

Purchased this to use when trimming my beard. The small profile and LED light help trim around the nostrils and ears. Only drawback is that you sometimes have to go back 2-3 times to actually get the hairs trimmed with it’s small reciprocating blade. Still the best answer I have found to accurate trimming.

Between the light swordfish like blade location/design, It’s really easy to use and you can get deep inside your nose. Bought this to replace my nose hair trimmers that had disappeared and miraculously were found the day after this arrived. It works well for an outer trimmer, but trying to trim nose hairs is painful. The metal guard on this is aggressive and will scratch up the inside of your nose. Trimming a beard, mustache, ears, eyebrows, chest, or stomach and this works great. I would just look for something else if you plan on using a this is a nose trimmer and don’t have a nose made of iron.

Love this nose hair trimmer! The trimmer comes with a built in light for ease of illuminating the hair to be trimmed. While trimming the cutting head is very smooth and cuts cleanly, no pulling or tugging of hairs like the wahl I previously used. After more than a year of use the trimmer works the same as new. The soft grip on the trimmer is comfortable to hold and does not slip out of hand.Another nice feature is the trimmer uses a replaceable battery and seems to be gentle on battery use. Batteries last a long time.

Works fine. Great to have a trimmer that runs on an AA battery and doesn’t take up space. Not a fan of dealing with charging and/or plugs. I haven’t had it long but it does what it says. Not sure what some people are complaining about for such a low price. It’s more of a finishing tool, not really for daily use unless you’re a werewolf.

I have been using it for a year or so. Infrequently but still used. Very convenient and ergonomic. Light was useful too. But then it just stopped working and battery replacement didn’t help. I guess it’s out of warranty, so it’s too late for replacement.

Simple, superb at its job and well priced – exactly how all products should be. I have used many of these nose hair trimmers but this one stands out on several counts – Very good build quailty. The angle and length of the blade is perfect for all trimming jobs. The on/off button being in a separate place, unlike some of it’s competitors, where the on/off button is tied to the opening for the battery, is a very good touch. Highly recommend it.

I compared this at a local retailer as I had some pesky nose hairs to trim. Price on Amazon was about $10 cheaper. I opted for the angled head and led light and I am glad I did. The angle on the tip fits well in the nose and makes for easy trimming. It comes with a cover and a couple attachments that I assume can be used for other places such as the eyebrows. Quiet. Great product. Plus it’s washable and rinseable to clean off after use.

Unit is lightweight and moves easily, battery life seems OK for the most part, it is of course running a small motor so limited normally. Case style makes it easy to hold and not drop like my old unit. The light really isn’t that big of help since you already know what you are cutting and is really small. The downside can be because it cuts really cleanly/sharply you can burn your skin if you hold it on one area too long. Not really a big problem – but one you should be aware of. The beard/trimmer standoff I don’t use, but might if it came with a 6mm size for eyebrows – 2/4 mm is way too short.I like the unit, and would buy another down the road if I were to replace it, or as a second carry kit item. Would also give as a gift item if needed.

DO NOT RINSE WITH WATER–you can only use the small bush that came with it to clean the head, otherwise, works really good
