Daniel Smith –
Bought this to help with a mosquito problem in our garage where I exercise. Was sick of ending every workout with a new set of bug bites. This ‘zapper’ lets you quickly pick off the bugs and makes the most satisfying noise when you get one. Well worth the money.
Laura Hernandez –
Satisfying elimination of unwanted pests. Takes some technique with buttons. Wish it hade a hole or handle strap for hanging.
Mike Hernandez –
A must need for all outdoor functions
Mike Jones –
The mosquitoes must think I’m their main meal ticket. Decided to try these at our family property and it has been the most fun I’ve had around mosquitoes. My family members even bought another kind (battery operated) and regret getting these. The rechargeable factor is quick and easy. Now we zap for each other. The big biting flies are harder to get since they are so fast.
Sarah Brown –
These fly swatters work well. But one is already bent and I just opened it last night! Also, the charging cord arrived broken!! That said, it’s a fun way to rid your house of irritating flying bugs!
John Garcia –
I really enjoyed my first purchase. They hold a charge a long time and they can even kill hard body stinging insects like wasps.I misplaced the one I purchased last year, so bought two, one to keep on my porch and one for my camper.
Laura Davis –
Paid $18.99 for this pair of mosquito zappers in 2023 and it’s worth every cent. I waited to write this review because I was concerned about the longevity of the zapper. Someone in our family is a hoarder so rain and baby mosquito-filled buckets are around the house. It’s been 3 months of heavy zapping (4x/week) and it’s still going strong even after my six-year-old dented one of them and it was pulled back out.The micro-USB charger is wonderful. I’ve had non-rechargeable battery replacement zappers in the past and like that I can re-charge this. Haven’t seen a dip in the zap power yet but usually the non-rechargeable zappers last me one summer and are done. Hope this is a keeper! Now I can sit in the yard and watch the evening sun. As a note, I’ve tried using this zapper on houseflies, fruit flies, and beetles and it either doesn’t work well. The mesh size works specifically for mosquitoes. On larger insects, the kill is not humane. If you accidentally zap your six-year-old’s finger, they don’t mind too much. So gratifying when you get a juicy mosquito!
Daniel Williams –
KILLS THOSE FLYING BUGS.
Mike Miller –
I love to use my zapper, I used it mainly to kill pantry moths, fruit flies, and mosquitoes, also flies but those are harder to kill unless they are hovering. I have saved much money and stress by killing months alone.I believe there is a life time warranty, my zapper finally bit the dust, it was my bff. Hopefully I can get it replaced.
Mike Davis –
Excellent product if I ever need it I would buy it again.👌🏽
Mark Johnson –
First of all, it is a lot of fun to use! We take turns and keep score! And, it is a very effective tool for getting rid of pesky Hornets, Wasps and Bees! I would highly recommend!
Laura Garcia –
The large surface area makes this device so much better than a fly swatter. You just need to cross the path of a bug and you will zap it! I don’t go out on my decks without one.
Mark Williams –
This is really a great zapper. You just wave it by the bug and it zaps it. Past ones I’ve had, you had to make sure you had the bug in full contact on the racket screen before the bug would get zapped. This one even gets tiny spiders and flying insects. We love it!!
Sarah Garcia –
And no more chasing bees around! Just hold this over the bug on the window (or swat it flying) and zap!
Jessica Hernandez –
This bug swatter has surpassed my expectations, and I respect practical and efficient solutions. Because of its ideal length and size, it is simple to handle and store. With just a button press, the device is ready to use and has intuitive controls. I value how lightweight and movable it is because it lets me quickly manage pests outside or travel from room to room.Hearing that zap and realizing the insect is gone is a really satisfying feeling. Overall, by eliminating the annoyance of flying insects, this zapper has really increased my comfort level indoors. This insect zapper is definitely worth taking into consideration if you’re searching for a dependable and easy-to-use device. And for the price of one, you get two.
Sarah Smith –
As someone who values practical and efficient solutions, this bug swatter has exceeded my expectations. Its size and length are perfect, making it easy to handle and store. The controls are intuitive, and the device is ready to go with just a press of a button. I appreciate how lightweight and portable it is, allowing me to move from room to room or even step outside for quick pest control. The satisfaction of hearing that zap and knowing the insect is gone is quite rewarding. Overall, this zapper has significantly improved my indoor comfort, reducing the nuisance of flying insects. If you’re looking for a reliable and user-friendly bug zapper, this one is definitely worth considering. And you get two for the price of 1 deal lol

This electric swatter delivers immediate results. With a simple swing, bugs like flies, mosquitoes, and gnats are instantly zapped. It’s a quick and efficient way to handle unwanted pests. The swatter is lightweight and easy to maneuver, with an ergonomic handle that makes it comfortable to use. Even after extended use, it doesn’t cause any hand fatigue. Overall, the ZAP iT! 4,000 Volt Electric Handheld Bug Zapper Swatter is a highly effective tool for keeping your home insect-free. It’s powerful, easy to use, and offers great value for the price. If you’re tired of chasing bugs around the house, this swatter is definitely worth the investment.

I received one of these as a gift a few years ago, and I thought it had quit working, but it just needed a new charge. I had forgotten it had a lifetime guarantee. Recently I bought a new Large Size 2-pack. I put them in different rooms, but I may give one to my son if he’d like one. As far as eliminating bugs this is the best thing you can buy. No chemicals and no chemical smell, they easily charge via USB and hold a charge for quite a while. They ZAP bugs like crazy. I’ve even used mine on spiders and centipedes and the occasional other crawly bug that may somehow make it into my house in spite of my Lawncare people’s Perimeter Pest Control. Flies and moths don’t stand a chance. Flying bugs you used to miss with your dinky old fly swatter will no longer “bug” you out of your mind. The racket is big and doesn’t miss — unless the user has the occasional bad aim. If bugs invade the sanctity of your home, this will eliminate them post haste! It’s worth every penny. You owe it to yourself and your family to keep flying/biting bugs out of your living space. Try ZAP IT! and you will NOT regret it, plus using it is FUN!!!
Sarah Davis –
read a lot of reviews most positive – i got it the other day it’s a bit on the small size compared to the discontinued magic mesh fly racket but it’s killing my fruit flys by my guinea pigs so far no regrets and it’s a reasonable price and good replacement for my old one – i like the light but i don’t like that i have to hold the red button down to activate i wish u can hit a switch and stay on
Anna Garcia –
Product is great! USB charges so no wasting batteries. It also has an optional light on it.
Sarah Davis –
I got the Medium size and these have been a game charger. We noticed we were having a bit of a fruit fly problem and ordered a few other products to work passively alongside my sister and I just zapping these flies left and right.Maybe my technique is off but the really tiny ones are harder to zap. Overall, feeling really happy with these. They came with charge right outside the box so we immediately got to testing them out.Highly recommend.
Jessica Garcia –
So far so good. These things are very light and hopefully their plastic doesn’t break. I have dropped it once already, but it shows no signs of damage. This product should be used to wave around in the air to touch the pests. It is not intended to “hit” or “smack” anything because it will break. I do however notice that I catch more pests the faster I wave it in the air (be aware of your environment; try not to break anything or hurt anyone). The flys that I manage to hit with this make a loud snapping sound. Sometimes they survive the hit and fly away, but most times they fall to the ground subdued, allowing you to step on them. Other times they get stuck in it and make a little lightning bolt arc shine from their bodies. This usually results in a burned smell if you continue to press the energizing button (which I will explain in a moment). These USB rechargeable zap rackets come with only one cord, but I already have another cord for a cell phone, so, whatever. The charge cord fits behind the yellow door at the base of the handle. I like that this product has switches on it. One on the side that cuts power to the metal completely, and one in the middle of the handle to control a light. Why it needs a light is beyond me, but it’s there if you need it. The main button that energizes the metal grid is the yellow button on the side. There are two LED lights on the handle. A red LED light that shines to show you that the metal grid is being energized every time the yellow button is pressed, and a green one lower on the handle that only shines to indicate when it is finished recharging. Oh, and instructions say it should be charged before use. It also says it can be recharged a thousand times (or something along those lines) because of the powerful lithium battery, but I have yet to charge it again (since the first charge after I received it). I have already killed around 40 flies and a few mosquitoes with one of them on a single charge and it shows no signs of weakening. Both rackets have fully charged within two hours. I have not shocked myself yet, and I have noticed that this is due to the safe design. I am fairly certain that shocking yourself is a possibility if you are determined to do it, but I highly recommend that you not. I am thoroughly satisfied with this product so far but I will return to update this review if I find any problems or flaws to adjust the star rating.

Do you have an insect problem? Do you like to sit outside, but you don’t because of the pests that swarm you? The answer to your most annoying problems is here! It’s called “The Zapper”!I purchased this item because of a fruit fly problem. I purchased the medium size (see pics attached). It’s hand held. It feels like a tennis racket. It’s incredibly lightweight! The red indicator light shows you that the zapper is turned on and ready to use. The blue LED light is to help you see in darker areas. This way you will be sure not to miss those pesky little insects. You just swat at them, or lay the racket upon a surface when they land, and ZAP! They’re gone! It takes seconds! It does make a little noise, but nothing terrible. It does spark a little, but it’s not bad. It just takes a little getting used to. It is rechargeable. It charges with a USB cable that is included (but only one cable for both rackets). It can be used indoors or outdoors. It takes care of tiny insects (fruit flies) to regular sized insects (flies, wasps, spiders, etc.). Needless to say, we’ve eliminated most of our issues in just a matter of a few days!If you’re looking to eliminate problematic pests, I definitely recommend using one of these! They absolutely do the job! I give it a 100% 👍!
Mark Brown –
I’m have other brands of this device and they don’t work quite as good as these do.That being said, I purchased a 2-pack and only 1 of them works.
Laura Martinez –
I am prone to mosquito bites. They’ll seek me out and tease me by flying in front of my face. I tested the product on house flies and zap! I heard the fly being zapped! So satisfying! They are lightweight and you’ll need to hold the yellow button in order to zap a bug. It’s not as big as I thought it would be, but no complaints.Negatives. if they are on a wall (or on you!) you’ll need to wait until they are flying. I wish there were two cables to charge instead of one. I have one racket upstairs and the other downstairs.
Mike Johnson –
Difficult to use when the fly lands on something. Can’t hit it too hard for fear of breaking something. Better at flying bugs.
Laura Johnson –
I saw one of these electric-charged tennis rackets at a family BBQ last summer and decided I must have one (or two) for myself. So I immediately came to Amazon to get a set of these bug destroyers. Happily, they do just what they purport to do and in addition, they bring a really sick pleasure as you hear and watch house flies cook and wither when contacted by this havoc racket. Here’s why I like this tool:- Ease of use – Simply flip the switch to on and then depress the button and you are ready to shock the living heck out of house flys, mosquitos, fruit flys, and my favorite WASPS- The Zap Noise – You know when you have exacted revenge on pesky flying insects when you hear the wonderful sound of popping electricity.- It is addicting – Once you have hunted and slain your first fly or wasp, you’ll want to chase others and 15 minutes later you’ll be showing off your pile of electrified bugs to friends and family while they look at you with a disgusted face.Trust me on this, you want one of these for you home so you can also have fun while you manage an everyday problem. The price is right and even if your friends and relatives judge you, soon they’ll be joining in the fun.
Sarah Martinez –
Used a few times. Definitely works. Flies and fruit flies taken out. One stink bug shown who’s boss.
Emily Johnson –
I’ve used these electronic bug zappers for years and wouldn’t want to be without one. Flies, mosquitoes and gnats are brought down easily without aerosol sprays, or having to smash the bug against the wall after it lands. Simply waving it thru the air can often get that annoying gnat that’s practically invisible. The reassuring snapping sound lets you know that bug won’t be bothering you any longer. I highly recommend this model.
Robert Davis –
A friend had one and I just had to get one too.
Jessica Garcia –
I have caught some clever mosquitos mid air or knocked from ceiling or glass and flying away..Loud pop and slight burn smell and no trace left! Now it does require a button turned on and another pressed down while swatting, but easy to catch on to the process.I bought thisas a joke or conversation piece, and it does get giggles. However, it does also do what it says.👍
Emily Martinez –
First, I really don’t like killing anything. I used to corner flies at the screen door and let them out from the outside. That being said, being invaded by pantry moths, I went to another level. I used to feel really bad at first killing them. However, these things DON’T scare easily, even if you get close to them, they won’t move, at all. We tried getting exterminators (we have cats, so couldn’t use their sprays), animal-safe sprays, swatters, electric rackets, etc., this product was the only way to go! AND these are rechargeable via USB. No battery! One charge lasts a looooong time. We had the exterminator come back in bc we were trying to get any other method and he said we did an amazing job with the rackets! Anyway, once I would get the bug to actually fly around, I could zap it in mid-air. I think it evaporates them. SO much better than anything else bc these bugs are resilient and won’t go away with a swat, not unless you actually touch them. The other electric racket was good, but the dead bugs would stay in the racket and you’d have to bang the racket on the side of the trash can to get rid of it. No big deal, but this (this pair of 2) do an amazing job. They are a little loud when they zap, I’ve set off the house alarm a couple of times when too close to the windows lol, but worth it. You get used to the noise. Also, for those interested, pantry moths can come from one product that has some moth eggs on it that you buy at the supermarket (can’t see them well), then you’re done. You must be vigilent though! We had to clear out EVERYTHING from the pantry and close everything on air tight containers. Good luck!
Laura Jones –
Works like a charm, even against tiny bugs like fruit flies. They just explode. Can’t find any traces of them. Not gonna lie, I kinda feel like a god swinging this thing around. It might be too powerful for mortal hands to wield.
Daniel Martinez –
If you tell me to walk around the house for half an hour, I’ll tell you’re crazy. But if you tell me to walk around the house killing flies and/or mosquitos with this thing I’ll do it every freaking time!Just the sweet sound of electricity explosion and watch them die in the spot, it’s reward enough. I’ll walk even an hour releasing mayhem and death to these bugs, but by half an hour or less, they are all usually dead.
Laura Garcia –
Have to get the hang of it but once you do , it works well. Evaporates the flies. No mess.
Emily Garcia –
I haven’t actually had a chance to use it myself, my sons took both of the rackets immediately after I unboxed them. There were no Flys left within a few minutes. (Maybe 20 minutes). But well worth every penny. And it’s great that they can just be plugged in to charge instead of hunting for batteries.
Sarah Williams –
Fly Zapper works great! I’ve had mine for a few months and still have not had to charge it.
Mark Davis –
It was so, and I mean SO GREAT when I could zap those little blood suckers. THANK YOU
Daniel Williams –
I plan to give one to my son-in-law. I was kind of disappointed that there was only 1 charger and we have to share.
Mike Smith –
Best product
Mike Jones –
Zaps anything that touches it.
Daniel Johnson –
We get flies in the house during summer and I get tired of swatting at them with a regular fly swatter. This electrified version is much more satisfying! Wait for one of those little buggers to start buzzing around, click the on button, and line up for a forehand (or backhand, if you prefer) shot and let loose! Contact with the intruder makes a satisfying ZAP and lets you know that the bug said hello to your little friend. I even had a bee (how’d he get in??) buzzing around the other day and took a swat at him with this. It didn’t die on the first hit, or the second, but by the third swing, when he got caught in the wiring and stuck around to get extra crispy, I didn’t have to worry about being stung any longer.
Sarah Martinez –
It’s strong and actually kind of fun. Some flies are just more resilient and doesn’t go down with one zap. Most of them get knocked out or they hit the ground and start breakdancing.I don’t think the flash light function is useful.
Anna Johnson –
I should have listened to my husband and bought one of these sooner! Very convenient especially during gnat season!
John Martinez –
I cannot believe it took me so long to discover this simple solution to taking out mosquitos, gallinippers, deer flies humanly with out destroying furniture, lamps and personal injury trying to go after these buggers on the patio or in our home!! This device WORKS! Don’t use it to swat them, simply activate the electric grid and hold it over where they are alighting or gently wave at them. There is no need to ‘swat’ or any other contortion that all of us have done in total frustration, while the bug snickers and in a moment has escaped your swatting hand, towel, baseball bat!! Omg! I can’t say enough good here, plus having it usb rechargeable and very very reasonably priced! It is THE BEST!!!
